So what is the worst thing you can do at the Orlando airport, or any airport for that matter? Buy your trip essentials at the airport shops! Yes, the shops in the airport can be convenient when you realize you forgot to pack something or an item was too large to pack. But the problem is that airport shops tend to mark up the price of everything. Things are SO much more expensive at the airport!

We suggest that, if you can live without it at the airport, wait until you’re at your destination to visit Target or have the items delivered through Instacart. You’ll find the same items for a fraction of the cost as they would be at an airport shop.

Another alternative would be to buy your essentials ahead of time. There are many items that you can get in travel sizes or that can fold up neatly to fit into your check bag, carry-on, or even your purse if you carry one.
