Heads up, Disney World fans!

It’s always an exciting day when something new arrives — and that’s exactly what we’re celebrating now. An iconic Hollywood Studios ride has been updated and we’re sharing everything you need to know!
It’s a BIG DAY for Star Wars fans! New scenes have been added to Star Tours — The Adventures Continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris. As of April 5th, there are three new scenes available as possibilities when you experience this attraction.

Not only can you now go on adventures with Ahsoka Tano…

…you can also go into battle with Cassian Andor…

…and help Din Djarin (the Mandalorian) keep Grogu (Baby Yoda) safe!

Disney released a new poster to celebrate the changes.

And we even saw that poster up in the park! At a media event for the Star Tours changes, we got to ride. We were not allowed to film, however, we can describe the new scenes we saw.

The pre-show and boarding process is still exactly the same as before. Also, the opening scene of the attraction in the Star Tours port did not change.
WARNING: Spoilers of the new scenes below.

First, we had a scene with Darth Vader and a scene on the planet Hoth, and these were scenes we had in previous rides. Then it got exciting because we saw Din Djarin and Grogu from The Mandalorian!
In the scene the duo needs our help, but, in true Grogu fashion, he grabs a space frog and eats it. Djarin tells him to spit it out and then there’s a fun 3D effect of the frog coming at you!

Next, we had a scene from Ahsoka, where we ran into Purrgil (also known as space whales). Ahsoka came on the side screen in the ride to talk to us. In the end, she said, “Safe travels, good to see you again R2.” How adorable is that?

And that was the end of our ride! Keep in mind that there are several different scenes and scenarios during each Star Tours ride and you never know what you might see.

Afterward, at the exit, Cast Members created a lightsaber tunnel! This is also not guaranteed but it was a fun touch.

There is also new merchandise to look forward to! The clothing is available now, but the big Starspeeder will be out in later May or June and the smaller one will come out in May.
