We Spotted Something NEW At Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World

We’re “Almost There” when it comes to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World.

We know we’re close to seeing a ride opening date announced soon because Imagineers have begun ride testing the attraction — as in we’ve seen them RIDING IT. We continue to see progress at the construction site every day in Magic Kingdom, and we just noticed a NEW addition to the ride.

Right around the corner from the gorgeous mural that’s been painted on the attraction is a NEW sign, one we’ve never seen before. We think it must’ve gone up sometime this week. But what does it say?

Do you see it?

It says “Main Entrance,” so we guess this is where the main entrance to the ride will be. If we also had to guess, we think the Lightning Lane will be to the left of where that sign is (we are totally guessing, though).

Entrance!

We know that the ride will open in summer 2024, but Disney has not yet confirmed an official opening date. Of course, previews could come before that, and we’re still waiting on Disney to make announcements about those, too. It certainly seems that the ride is getting “closer and closer every day,” to quote Tiana.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will pick up Tiana’s story after the events of The Princess and the Frog. It will feature a lot of familiar characters, but some new characters are joining the ride, too. We even have a ride poster now.
