Here We Go Again — More Mysterious Construction Pops Up in EPCOT

Many guests were very excited when the announcement came that the Harmonious barges would be removed from World Showcase Lagoon in EPCOT.

The barges were finally fully removed in May, but now it seems that the lagoon isn’t fully devoid of any strange items or garnishes. Yep, more construction is happening inside the World Showcase Lagoon.

When we were walking around EPCOT recently, we noticed that there are strange…sticks peeking out of the water?

When we chatted with Cast Members, they shared with us that they’ve seen construction crews hammering these poles down into the water, but it’s not been confirmed what they’re for yet.

It’s possible they may not be permanent if they’re for the 4th of July fireworks show later this week.
