It’s only August, but we’re going to be celebrating Halloween things in Disney Parks from now through October.
So it’s no surprise that we’ve reported a LOT of Halloween news this week, in addition to us attending the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last week. But just in case you missed any other big Disney news, we’re giving you a quick rundown right here!
Halloween Happenings
We’ll just start with Halloween at Disney World! The first thing you might want to know is that the Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths have returned to Disney World. As you might know, these were replaced last year with the 50th anniversary Halloween Cinderella Carriage Wreaths, which also went up this year. But you’ll see some Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths, too.
Another big piece of Halloween news is that The Headless Horseman has returned to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We caught him making his way down Main Street, U.S.A., before the Boo-To-You parade! We didn’t get to see him during the first party because he doesn’t ride during rain and stormy weather, so we’re happy to see him again.
We also got a chance to see Max Goof dressed up like Powerline at the party! Let’s just say that he really did “Stand Out.” Max shows up as sort of the pre-show for the parade, so be sure to line up early so you can see him! The best place to be in order to see Max is somewhere between Center Street and the Confectionery.
If you’re looking for ideas of what to eat during the party, we ate all kinds of snacks to make sure we can make the best suggestions: here are our favorites!
Speaking of Halloween outfits, the Dapper Dans are in their fall outfits for the season. They’ve traded their summer colors for oranges, greens, and reds.
Dare we say they look very…dapper? Be sure to catch them the next time you’re visiting Magic Kingdom. They perform regularly throughout the day.

Disney World Returns and Reopenings
Things are returning to normal in Disney World, and we just had another gift shop reopen. Beverly Sunset Boutique in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has opened its doors once again. The store closed back in November 2021 due to supply issues, but it’s now open for people to visit.
We’ve also got some news about some returning EPCOT tours. The Behind the Seeds tour, EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest, and EPCOT Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth will all be returning starting on October 2nd, 2022. All three tours will be available to book starting August 22nd through the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app.
Another character meet and greet has also returned in Magic Kingdom. You can now meet Winnie The Pooh and Tigger again in Fantasyland near The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for times.
Finally, the mouth-numbing Fuzzy Tauntaun drink has returned to Oga’s Cantina in both Disneyland and Disney World.
The drink was pulled from menus earlier this year due to supply chain issues with the ingredient that creates that numbing effect, but Disney brought it back with a new recipe that still gives the same sensation, although it doesn’t look quite as fuzzy as before.

BoardWalk Deli Has Opened
BoardWalk Deli on Disney’s BoardWalk has officially opened. This spot, which used to be BoardWalk Bakery, has a menu that still includes some old BoardWalk Bakery favorites, along with some new sandwiches and sweets. You’ll find plenty to eat here for both breakfast and lunch/dinner.
BoardWalk Deli is open daily from 7AM to 10PM.

Disneyland Magic Key Renewals
Back in May, Disneyland paused all Magic Key sales, leaving current Magic Key Holders wondering if they would be able to renew their Magic Keys before they expired. However, Disney finally announced that Magic Key renewals would become available on August 18th — however, the program has been revamped a little, and prices have increased.
Now, renewals are available online, but many who were attempting to renew on August 18th met wait times of an hour or longer. These passes can sell out, so if you want to renew your Magic Key, we recommend doing so ASAP.

Movies and Entertainment
We’ve got some BIG movie news. First, a Big Thunder Mountain Railroad movie is in the works! It’s sure to be the wildest movie in the wilderness. The directors of the Disney+ series Hawkeye, Bert and Bertie, will be directing.
In other big movie news, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is heading back to movie theaters on August 26th. The return to theaters is to celebrate the upcoming Disney+ series Andor, which is a prequel to that film. Andor debuts on Disney+ on September 21st.
Finally, the first episode of the latest Marvel series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is now available on Disney+. The series follows Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany) as a lawyer who gets hulk powers after needing a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).
New episodes of She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ every Thursday — don’t forget to watch.
