Disney World changes a LOT, which is why we do our best to keep you updated on everything going on in the parks and beyond.

TRON Lightcycle Run is still under construction in Magic Kingdom, Cast Member training has started back up for the Walt Disney World Railroad, and construction on Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana is coming along in EPCOT. The BoardWalk Bakery also has turned into the BoardWalk Deli, which is now officially open — come with us to check it out!
There’s a NEW place to grab a quick bite to eat on Disney’s BoardWalk, because the BoardWalk Deli is officially open! The menu was announced for the new restaurant back on July 25th, and we’ve been waiting to check it out ever since. Now the restaurant is officially open and welcoming guests!

The old BoardWalk Bakery signs have been replaced with BoardWalk Deli signs, but overall the exterior of the restaurant remains largely unchanged.

We first walked in and noticed that much of the decor inside has remained the same from the old BoardWalk Bakery as well, and there are still plenty of baked goods on the menu and in the bakery case — so if you were worried about where to get your sugar fix, worry no more.

But, you’ll find quite a few savory sandwiches on the menu now as well — for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are also plenty of grab-and-go options available if you’re in a hurry heading to the parks (we’ve been there)!

The Cast Members were ready and waiting to greet the first guests of the day and we were so excited to be some of them! For breakfast, you’ll find all kinds of assorted pastries to choose from, plus delicious sounding bagel and ciabatta breakfast sandwiches as well.

For lunch and dinner options, the BoardWalk Deli is serving up classic deli dishes like Reuben sandwiches, Italian subs, and even classic grilled cheese too! Plus, you can even grab beer and specialty cocktails here.

The new deli is also available on Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app, and you can conveniently pick up your order over at the Mobile Order Pickup spot.

There’s also a self-serve beverage station…

…condiment station so you can grab everything you need to have your deli-cious (see what we did there????) meal.

Head on over to Disney’s new BoardWalk Deli at the BoardWalk Inn to check out this exciting quick-service addition to an already excellent lineup of dining options! The Deli is open from 7AM to 10PM daily.

That’s not the only new addition at Disney’s BoardWalk, as the hotel is being revamped with renovations to its interior, and The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is on its way and slated to open in 2023. Stay tuned to AllEars and we’ll bring you all the BoardWalk construction updates as we hear them.
