Sweet shops are slowly starting to take over Disney World!
At the beginning of last year, Gideon’s Bakehouse opened its doors to serve up giant cookies and cake slices, and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew brought over-the-top donuts to Disney’s shopping and dining district. But, that’s not all the sweets that you’ll find in Disney World soon!
Coming soon to Disney’s BoardWalk is The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. This new table service restaurant and bakery is expected to open in 2023.
At The Cake Bake Shop, you’ll be able to enjoy both savory and dessert menus, along with afternoon tea service, and “a whimsical atmosphere that complements the magic of the idyllic charm of Disney’s BoardWalk.”
The original shop is located in Indiana and aside from its famous cakes, pies, and assorted desserts, The Cake Bake Shop is also known for its seasonal window displays and excellent theming.
And, that’s not all — the desserts have been featured on The Rachel Ray Show and were chosen as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things in 2019. We can’t wait to try them out in Disney World! We’ll keep you updated on all the construction progress and an official opening date, so stay tuned to AllEars.

Hi Nick! We haven’t heard anything from Disney yet about where the Bake Shop will be located, but we are keeping a watchful eye on it and will update as soon as we know more.
