BIG CHANGES are coming to Disney’s BoardWalk.
We’ve already shared that changes will be made to Disney’s BoardWalk Bakery, a new coffee shop will come to the BoardWalk Inn, other updates will be made at the BoardWalk Inn, and a brand NEW restaurant will make its way to the BoardWalk area. Now we’ve got a big update on one of those changes!
Disney has just announced that this summer BoardWalk Deli will open on Disney’s BoardWalk. We already knew that BoardWalk Bakery would be reimagined into a sandwich shop and it seems that this is what it will likely transform into.
In fact, that appears to be confirmed on the BoardWalk Bakery website, where it now lists that BoardWalk Deli will be coming in “late summer 2022.”
According to Disney, BoardWalk Deli will be a “Northeastern-style deli with a brand-new menu that will include fresh deli sandwiches, fresh baked breads, and a selection of bakery items.”
Disney’s description on the website also notes that they’ll feature house-baked bagels, an “overstuffed warm pastrami Reuben,” and hand-pipped cannolis.
Disney hasn’t yet revealed further details about this spot, but we cannot wait to see what it will have on the menu. It is set to be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — so you’ll have plenty of chances to stop by and eat all it has to offer.
This isn’t the only big change coming to Disney World in the future. The TRON coaster is still actively under construction in Magic Kingdom, the Moana attraction is being built in EPCOT, a brand NEW restaurant is coming to Disney Springs, and some HUGE changes are being made at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
