That’s it, folks. It’s over. Pack up those floaties and pull out the scarves, Halloween has ARRIVED in Magic Kingdom in an epic fashion!

The Halloween wreaths are up (though they might not be the ones you’re expecting), Halloween merchandise abounds, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is BACK! We made our way over to the opening night of Not-So-Scary to check out all it has to offer last week, even though some things didn’t go as planned due to cancelations and rain delays. However, at this year’s party we experienced something BRAND NEW that might just blow your mind if you’re a fan of A Goofy Movie.
It is time to STAND OUT…above the crowd, even if [you] gotta shout out loud! 🎵 C’mon — sing it with us! If you love A Goofy Movie then you probably think the Powerline band (a fictional band from within the movie world) is pretty awesome.

Well, we have some incredible news. Max Goof dressed up as Powerline is now appearing during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! 😮
Disney shared the news about this epic addition earlier, and now we’ve finally gotten the chance to see it in person. And y’all, it did NOT disappoint.

Okay, okay. So how do you get to see Max dressed as Powerline? Here’s the deal.
This addition is brand NEW to the 2022 Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties and is an addition to the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Essentially, before the Boo-To-You Parade starts, you get a bit of a “pre-show.” During that pre-show, there’s a special 90s crew that comes through led by Max Goof dressed as powerline.

And yes, we were singing (and screaming) at the top of our lungs when we saw him go by, thank you very much.

It’s a really fun way to kick off the Halloween parade and get the whole crowd ready to go! Be ready though — Max and this group of dancers move FAST.

Remember that Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is offered twice nightly during Party nights — at 9:15PM and 11:15PM. Because this happens before the parade, you’ll want to make sure you’ve picked out a good seat to catch it. Note that Max doesn’t go through the entire parade route — you’ll want to be on Main Street, U.S.A. to catch him.

The parade is an incredibly popular part of the Halloween Party, so bear in mind that crowds can get pretty intense along the parade route during that time. The route goes from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A.
If you’re hoping to catch the parade with a little less stress, consider staying for that later one as some guests may leave early or have already caught the first show, potentially lessening crowds.

We’re sharing ALL of the details and thoughts about our experience at the party as we go along, so be sure to follow along for the latest updates.
