Why You Should WAIT to Complete EPCOT's Spring Scavenger Hunt

The spring has officially kicked off in Disney World with the beginning of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!

While eating and drinking is certainly one of the highlights of any EPCOT festival, there’s a lot more to do than just stuff our faces. We’ve already brought you along for a look at all the new festival merchandise and shared some details on what entertainment you can see, but there’s another activity worth checking out — especially if you have kids!

This year, Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is back so you can go on a hunt around World Showcase for Spike and a variety of different flowers once again!

Scavenger Hunt Details

To participate, you’ll need to stop into Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Travelers to purchase a map for $9.99 (which is a bit of a price increase compared to last year).

The front of the map features a list of all the locations that you need to find Spike and the back has stickers. Each sticker is a different flower and you’ll place the one that corresponds with whatever flower you found Spike next to in each country to complete the map.

Once you’ve got your map in hand, you’ll want to travel around World Showcase with your eyes peeled for Spike! You can usually find him hiding in the gardens near a yellow sign depicting what flower he’s with.

HINT: Spike is hidden somewhere near the Daisy Topiary!

Complete the whole map and bring it back to any of the three shops to claim your prize!

One thing to note though is that the 2022 Flower & Garden scavenger hunt prizes haven’t arrived at EPCOT just yet, so instead, Disney is currently giving out the prizes for Olaf Holiday Tradition Scavenger Hunt (which was part of the Festival of the Holidays).

If you’d like to wait for the new prizes, just keep your completed map and bring it back another day. Of course, we’ll keep you updated on when they arrive in EPCOT, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more 2022 Flower & Garden Festival news!
