FIRST LOOK at the NEW Castle Stage Show in Disney World

We’ve seen several exciting things return to Disney World lately, including the buffet at a popular restaurant and classic character meet and greets in EPCOT. But today marks the debut of a (kind of) NEW show in Magic Kingdom!

We’ve been visiting reopened restaurants, patiently waiting for the return of the Festival of Fantasy parade in Disney World, and now we’ve seen the return of the Cinderella Castle stage show! The new version is a little bit different from the stage show you remember. Let’s see how it holds up to castle stage shows of the past.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire debuted TODAY in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. The show may sound familiar because Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire was previously hosted in the same location. The name changed a little bit, and so did the show.

The show has been updated to include new 50th Anniversary outfits and a brand-new opening!

You’ll be able to catch this show multiple times per day, so no worries if you miss the first of the day.

We saw characters from a few different Disney movies, including Tangled…

…Frozen…

…and The Princess and the Frog.

 Goofy got in on the New Orleans-style celebration when Tiana, Naveen, and Louis were on the stage. What a star!

And Queen Elsa even made it “snow” at one point!

They all came together for a big finale at the end.

And of course, there were a few fireworks to really end the show right.

Showtimes for Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire are at 12:15PM, 1:30PM, 2:45PM, 4:35PM, and 6:10PM each day.
