So many things have returned to Disney World over the past year.

Select modified character meet and greets are back, fireworks have returned, and more things are set to come back soon. Many restaurants have reopened as well, like Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom and ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Some buffets have come back too, and now another buffet is back at a popular Disney hotel!
REJOICE BUFFET FANS! The dinner buffet has returned to Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!

Cape May Cafe has been open for a while, but it was operating as an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style meal for breakfast and dinner. Now, buffets are back for both breakfast and dinner. We already gave you a first look at the breakfast buffet, so let’s take a look at dinner!
Atmosphere
Dinner is available at Cape May Café from 5PM to 9PM each night.

This restaurant has a beachy theme, with art depicting seaside scenes and cute props like umbrellas and sandcastles.

The restaurant has normal tables and chairs…

…as well as booths.

You’ll see more nods to the theme in the color scheme and other design elements, like this wave-inspired archway.

The buffet is in a central location, so you can get up to grab more food throughout your meal.

There are signs reminding guests to please wear a face mask when they’re up getting food from the buffet.

Now let’s take a look at the grub!
Buffet
The dinner buffet costs $42 for adults and $25 for children (ages 9 and under).

You can also upgrade your meal by adding snow crab legs for an additional $29.99 per pound or a whole lobster for an additional cost as well.

The crab legs are brought to your table in a bucket and are served with butter.

Going down the buffet line, we spotted some rolls with butter…

…a couple of different kinds of salad…

…seafood pasta salad…

…fresh fruit…

…as well as soups like clam chowder and vegetable soup to start off your dinner.

Moving on down the line, you can also get sustainable fish (it was salmon when we visited) and paella dishes…

…chicken and mashed potatoes…

…and roasted beef from the carving station.

There are some items that represent a classic seafood boil, like steamed clams and mussels…

…peel-and-eat shrimp…

…and corn and red potatoes. We loaded up our plate and got ready to dive in!

In case mussels and crab legs aren’t really your vibe, you can also find some classic favorites, like pizza.

Don’t forget to grab dessert when you’ve finished your meal! There are several options, including the famous Oreo Bonbons…

…Strawberry Layered Cake…

…50th Anniversary Boston Cream Tarts and Lemon Curd…

…and Gluten-Friendly Chocolate Mickey Domes.

We may or may not have grabbed a little bit of everything.

You can also find Bread Pudding with Custard…

…and jars of different kinds of cookies.

In general, there’s something for everyone at this reopened buffet. We’re a little sad that the crab legs aren’t bottomless (like they used to be), but we really enjoyed our dinner and experience here!

We can’t wait to return to eat at the buffet again. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney World news and updates.

what happened to all you can eat seafood buffet?!? Why do we have to pay extra money for something that used to be included in the price?
Exactly! We used to eat there EVERY trip….sometimes twice. I refuse to pay an extra $30 for only one pound of crab legs! These used to be included in the buffet. It’s totally not worth it anymore! Just another example of Disney raising prices and taking away magic!—-like parking that used to be included at the ridiculously priced resorts! And chipping paper cups at the resorts to control soda consumption! There’s no good will from Disney anymore! After our big extended family trip, next January, we’re done for a while….maybe forever!
The crab legs picture- Was that one pound? Do they have fried calamaries? Thx
That was actually more than a pound, usually two sets of legs is a pound, its absurd that they removed them from the buffet line and yet still charge the same. Not worth it now
