3 Iconic Characters Just Got New Looks in Disney World!

The new Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is here!

It begins!

The new cavalcade features almost 30 Disney and Pixar characters, the most of any cavalcade, and is the first time Miguel from Coco has ever made an appearance in the Magic Kingdom! While there’s so much we could talk about with the new cavalcade, we can’t stop thinking about how a few iconic characters look a little different.

Three Toy Story characters, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz, have all gotten makeovers in the Disney parks! Let’s take a look at how Woody is different. Here’s what he looked like in the new cavalcade .He’s looking pretty identical to how he looks in the movies, and his face is much rounder and more expressive.

Here’s what Woody looked like before. We never thought it was that bad, but now compared to the new one, this Woody isn’t looking so hot. His face is much more angular, and his eyes and eyelids are bugging out much more than they are in his new costume. His new look is also slimmer, making him look more like a toy.

Let’s take a look at Jessie next! We were on the other side of the street from her, so we didn’t get the best view, but Jessie got the same glow-up as the boys did! Here’s the video we got of her as the parade started.

This new Jessie has brighter hair, wider eyes, and an open-mouthed smile. She also looks much more accurate to the movie. Here’s what she was looking like before. Her thick eyeliner and square jaw made her look a lot boxier than she does now.

The last transformation we saw was over in Hollywood Studios during the Pixar Pals Cavalcade. Buzz is looking very true to his movie counterpart with a more rounded jaw and thinner eyebrows.

Here’s what Buzz looked like before. His face was much longer, he was squinting a bit more, and he was sporting some thick eyebrows.
