It’s no secret that both Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Pandora — The World of Avatar are two remarkably popular lands in Disney World. Both lands are well known for their rides that draw multiple hour-long wait times (we’re looking at you Rise of the Resistance and Flight of Passage!), and they’re home to some of our favorite snacks!

With both areas of the parks being so popular, it got us thinking about which land we prefer — so we decided to ask our readers!
Our Facebook fans were quick to join the discussion when we asked the question: “This or That: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or Pandora — World of Avatar?”! Here’s what you all had to say!
Team Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Talk about an immersive atmosphere — Galaxy’s Edge located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been praised for transporting guests to Batuu and beyond with attractions like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and experiences like building your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop!

Reader Karla stated, “Galaxy’s Edge. They have more to do, see and eat while you are there”, while Lynette remarked that “in Galaxy’s Edge you feel like [you’re] part of the story”.

Others thought that Galaxy’s Edge was the clear winner based on attractions alone — “There was so much buildup for both Flight of Passage and Rise of the Resistance, but only Rise lived up to the hype for me” replied reader Alex. Courtney had a more succinct response: “Galaxy’s Edge, hands down”. You are in good company, Courtney.
Team Pandora — World of Avatar
When Pandora opened in 2017, it continued the practice of immersive lands in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With two attractions and two of our favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat, there is plenty to do and see in Pandora.

One reader, Kyle, seems to agree, stating “I think Pandora is just more immersive. The dining in Galaxy’s Edge (except for Oga’s drinks) really missed the mark” while Lorie thought “the theming [in Pandora] is just amazing”!

Rich replied to our post to let us know that he thinks “Pandora at night is truly amazing!” and we have to agree. Donna kept her answer short and sweet with “Pandora…not impressed with either ride in Galaxy’s Edge”.

We even had some readers reply to let us know that they prefer Galaxy’s Edge during the day, but Pandora at night! One reader even replied, “Sorry, neither for me” — ouch! One thing is for sure, we will keep bringing you more news and updates about your favorite Disney parks, so be sure to stay tuned!

I prefer Pandora, even though molly hates avatar, I think it’s amazing! Beats Galaxy’s edge, 2-1
I would give the edge to Pandora. Both are very well done.
