PHOTOS: Test Track Evacuated With Lights On in Disney World

Have you ever had a car break down while you were driving it? It’s the worst, isn’t it? Well, it seems that even simulation cars can break down! Every once in a while, a Disney attraction experiences some technical difficulties, and sometimes, they are even forced to evacuate the ride!

During a visit to EPCOT, one of our readers shared their experience on Disney’s Test Track attraction, and let’s just say that we don’t think their SIM car passed its performance test!

It’s not very often that you get to see a Disney attraction with the lights on! Thanks to AllEars reader @theoriginaldrewfus on Instagram, we can see what happens when Test Track is evacuated.

The cars stopped in place and the lights came up, and from there, guests were escorted off the attraction by Cast Members. Think of it like the scene in the attraction where the car does a little brake check, but in real life!

Luckily, guests were able to safely exit the attraction. No crashes to report here!

Disney Cast Members are excellent at handling evacuations, so if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t panic — you’re in good hands!

As of the next morning, Test Track was back up and running, so it seems like the problem was quickly fixed. That’s Disney efficiency for ya!
