What Current Annual Passholders Should Know About Disney World’s New Program

Disney World Annual Passes will be returning this September!

Disney had shared that Annual Pass sales would resume prior to the 50th anniversary on October 1st, and today, we learned that they will be resuming on September 8th!

When the sale of Annual Passes resumes, there will be four NEW Pass tiers to choose from: the Disney Incredi-Pass, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, the Disney Pirate Pass, and the Disney Pixie Dust Pass.

New Annual Pass Types and Pricing

Disney Incredi-Pass

  • Available for $1,299+ tax, or $99 per month for 12 months for Florida residents (after $205 down payment)
  • Renewal price of $1,104 for current Passholders
  • ONLY option available to non-Florida residents or Disney Vacation Club members.
  • Up to 5 Park Pass reservations at a time

Disney Sorcerer Pass

  • Available for $899+ tax, or $63 per month for 12 months for Florida residents (after $205 down payment)
  • Renewal price of $764 for current Passholders
  • Available to Florida residents or Disney Vacation Club members ONLY
  • Up to 5 Park Pass reservations at a time
  • Limited blockout dates on select days during select holiday periods.

Disney Pirate Pass

  • Available for $699+ tax, or $45 per month for 12 months for Florida residents (after $205 down payment)
  • Renewal price of $594 for current Passholders
  • Available to Florida residents ONLY
  • Up to 4 Park Pass reservations at a time
  • Blockout dates on select days during select holiday periods and peak times

Disney Pixie Dust Pass

  • Available for $399+ tax, or $19 per month for 12 months for Florida residents (after $205 down payment)
  • Renewal price of $339 for current Passholders
  • Available to Florida residents ONLY
  • Up to 3 Park Pass reservations at a time
  • Gives access to one or more Disney World parks on most weekdays, with blockout dates during peak and holiday periods.

Renewal Details

Are you a current Annual Passholder? If so, you will be able to keep your current level but will need to switch to the new tiers once it comes time to renew starting September 8th.

Cinderella Castle

If you are currently in your renewal period, you will be able to choose to renew into one of the current Annual Pass options through September 7th, 2021.

Magic Kingdom

Additionally, guests who currently have Annual Passes will be eligible to hold more reservations at once starting on September 8th. Those will be:

  • Disney Platinum Plus: Up to 5 reservations at a time
  • Disney Platinum: Up to 5 reservations at a time
  • Disney Gold: Up to 5 reservations at a time
  • Disney Silver: Up to 4 reservations at a time
  • Disney Theme Park Select: Up to 3 reservations at a time
  • Disney Weekday Select: Up to 3 reservations at a time
  • Disney EPCOT After 4: Up to 3 reservations at a time

What Else Current Passholders Need to Know

Similar to the previous Passholder tiers, the new Passholder options will offer a variety of benefits, including park hopping, standard theme park parking, discounts on merchandise and dining, and more. Additionally, Disney shared that Passholders should lookout for a new magnet coming soon!

Donald Duck Annual Passholder Magnet

As far as discounts go, passholders can get up to 20% off of select dining and merchandise. They can also save on select tours, spa treatments, rounds of golf, after-hours events, and more. Along with those, there will still be discounts on resort stays from time to time.

  1. I am very disappointed as a DVC member that I can’t get one of the cheaper annual passes. We would get one every other year and get two to three trips out of it. DVC owners are far more loyal than most Florida residents

  2. Currently I have a gold pass and photopass is included. Photopass is not included in the new pass program !!! It can be added for $99 a year or less with a renewal. So Disney is again charging more for a perk.
