4 Reasons to Go to Disney Springs (That Have Nothing to Do With Eating or Shopping)

Many folks would agree that Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs has some of the best dining in all of Disney World. On top of that, there are countless shops for you to pick up a Disney souvenir as well as third-party retailers like Sephora and Kate Spade.

But there are lots of other reasons why Disney Springs is a great destination and worthy of a stop during your visit to Disney World!

Let’s review some of the Springs’ big attractions, entertainment offerings, and more!

Cirque du Soleil

For many years, La Nouba was the resident Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs. After it closed in late 2017, we learned that an entirely new show inspired by Disney animation would take its place. Drawn to Life will be debuting at Disney Springs soon (no date has been announced yet), and will be a great way to spend the evening in Disney World for the whole family.

Live Music!

While some options have been paused due to the COVID pandemic, typically live music can be found all across Disney Springs! Whereas the other attractions and entertainment offerings we’ve listed so far come with an extra fee, you can check out some awesome live music for free! Several restaurants feature live performances daily, from Raglan Road to The Edison. House of Blues also has its own exciting performance lineup. The Marketplace Stage features performances throughout the week as well, meaning you don’t have to sit down inside a restaurant or bar to hear music!
