When you’re visiting Disney World, several unexpected things could happen during your trip.
You could deal with weather issues, massive crowds, or even temporary ride closures. And if you’re in Magic Kingdom today, that last one may be a problem!
Today, not one, not two, but THREE Magic Kingdom rides are currently closed for technical issues. First, we spotted that Splash Mountain was down. Cast Members were standing outside of the ride warning guests of the closure.
Also, the Liberty Square Riverboat was temporarily unavailable. The ride hasn’t opened at all today, but if there are problems, it has a refurbishment scheduled for later this month.
And finally, Haunted Mansion is down as well. A crowd had gathered outside the ride as guests were turned away.
With Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion closed, that’s two of the park’s most popular rides! We’ll make sure to keep you updated if there are any more big issues today, so stay tuned to AllEars.

Have you ever been in a Disney park when several rides were closed?
My husband and I enjoy the riverboat. I will admit that we don’t do it every time. The last time we were there the water was drained and the riverboat was backstage. It’s relaxing. Try to make time to enjoy the parks. On my last trip we were running from one line to another due to the lack of fast pass, no magic hours, and parks closing early. You couldn’t just sit and take in the atmosphere. I envy the Disney bloggers that go into the parks daily and have favorite places to sit and sip a latte. Enjoy being there the next time you go.
Great advice
Ooooh so true
Thanks
