PHOTOS: Medals Revealed for Disney World’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend!

Disney World is gearing up to host their first in-person runDisney race in over a year in just a few months!

Earlier this year, runDisney announced FOUR returning race weekends that will take place at Disney World between 2021 and 2022 and it will all kick off with the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend this November! We’ve already shared a sneak peek at the race themes, but now Disney has revealed the medals that you’ll be running to earn!

The Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend includes three different race distances — the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon — plus, an extra medal for completing the Two Course Challenge (which involves running the 10K and the Half Marathon consecutively).

The theme this year is “Wickedly Delicious” and Disney Villains are the stars of the show once again! So, if you’re running the 5k you can look forward to earning a medal with the Evil Queen threatening her poison apple…

…those running the 10K will earn a medal with Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas

…the Half Marathon is themed after Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove, so runners will get a medal with Yzma and Kronk on the front…

…and those that run both the Half Marathon and the 10K will earn an EXTRA medal with Ursula, Flotsam, and Jetsam.

The race weekend will take place from November 4th to 7th and registration is already open if you’d like to sign up (though some distances are already sold out). Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details from runDisney and more, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
