Disney Releases the Villainous Themes for runDisney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Events!

Early registration has already opened for this year’s runDisney events in the fall! And, we’ve already got our running shoes and sweat bands ready to go!

As Disney World reinstates in-person racing again for the 2021/2022 season, EVERY event will be returning for participants to enjoy. And, things are kicking off this November with the 2021 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. While we know the overall event would be themed after the Disney Villains as “Wickedly Delicious,” we finally have details about the individual races available this fall!

This year’s Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend sponsored by AfterShokz will take place from November 4th through November 7th. 4 races within the event will be available both in-person and virtually with a range of 3.1 to 19.3 miles of fun!

The themes for this year include the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the Disney Wine & Dine 5K, Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas for the Disney Wine & Dine 10K, Yzma from Emperor’s New Groove for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid for the Two Course Challenge!

More upcoming registration dates include General Registration on July 13th at 10 AM ET for the in-person Disney World event and General Registration on July 16th at 10 AM ET for the virtual races.
