NEWS: runDisney In-Person Racing to RETURN to Disney World This Year!

We’ve been on the edge of our seats ever since Disney announced that there would be a BIG runDisney reveal coming today!

And, it looks like the wait is finally over for all your runners missing the in-person running events because FOUR race weekends are coming BACK to Disney World over the next year!

Disney has announced that they will be kicking off the 2021/2022 runDisney race season this November with the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend from November 4th to 7th, 2021. Theming for the weekend will be Disney Villains (which was the same theming for the virtual races last year).

The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will also be returning and will take place between January 5th to 9th, 2022.

And, just a month later the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be held from February 24th to 27th, 2022 with a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, and challenge distance.

Last year marked the end of the Star Wars race weekend for runDisney, but a new race will be introduced in the springtime this year called the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. According to Disney, the theming for the weekend will change every year, so you’ll never know what to expect.

Details for this year’s race haven’t been released just yet, but we do know that it will take place from March 31st to April 3rd, 2022 so mark your calendars!

Registration will begin for the Wine & Dine Weekend soon on July 13th and more details will be announced about spectators in the future. Of course, we’ll be sure to update you on everything you need to know! In the meantime, stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney news coming soon!
