Here’s ALL the Holiday Entertainment Disney World Announced for 2021

We’re halfway to the holidays, and Disney World is celebrating in a BIG way — with tons of holiday announcements!

Christmas at Magic Kingdom

We’ve got details on celebrations, both new and old, coming to the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. There are going to be lots of entertainment options this year, and we’ve got the full list right here!

Magic Kingdom

At Disney World’s original park, we’ll be celebrating mainly with the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event.  Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be premiering each night of the event, but that’s not all!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will return along with a brand new stage show called Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories!

Guests can also dance the night away at Club Tinsel during the After Hours event in Tomorrowland, while The Reindeer Wranglers will be partying in Frontierland.

Throughout the holiday season, special holiday projections will appear most nights on Cinderella Castle. These projections will be alternating with the 50th Anniversary “Beacon of Magic” look. Likely due to the 50th Anniversary decorations, it’s unlikely there will be Dream Lights this year.

Disney also noted that character appearances would be happening throughout the park but didn’t give any specifics. You’ll also be able to enjoy snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. during the party.

EPCOT

At EPCOT, the International Festival of the Holidays will be returning from November 26th to December 30th. The fan-favorite Candlelight Processional is set to return with celebrity narrators beginning November 26th.

Hollywood Studios

Once again in 2021, guests will enjoy the cheerful projections of Sunset Seasons Greetings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The nighttime show will alternate with the Tower of Terror’s “Beacon of Magic” look each evening.

Also, Santa Claus will feature in his own motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard, spreading Christmas cheer to all the guests. On top of that, you’ll be able to enjoy the festive seasonal finale of For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. In the holiday version of the show, Olaf makes an appearance!

Animal Kingdom

The celebrations are similar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where the Tree of Life will alternate between the “Beacon of Magic” look and the holiday-themed Tree of Life Awakenings.

The popular Merry Menagerie animal puppets will also return to Discovery Island for the holidays! Guests can say hello to some adorable reindeer, fox, polar bear, and penguin friends as they wander through Animal Kingdom.

Holiday Chip and Dale in Animal Kingdom

At Animal Kingdom, you’ll be able to enjoy the Santa Claus Festive Flotilla, the Donald’s Dino Bash Festive Flotilla, the Chip & Dale Festive Flotilla, and the Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla.

Disney Springs

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll returns this year with trees inspired by Disney movies and by Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. And in Town Center, you’ll want to look out for a magical snowfall each evening — a true miracle in Florida!

Disney Springs is a great place to celebrate without a park ticket!

Disney Resorts

And finally, at the Disney World Resort hotels, you’ll once again be able to visit and admire some over-the-top gingerbread displays. (Make sure to stop by the life-size cottage at the Grand Floridian!) These displays weren’t available last year, but they’re a big staple of the holiday season for longtime guests.
