We’re counting down the days until the start of the holiday season in Disney World!
We’re ready to check out the festive decor along with the special treats, and we’ll be partying (almost) all night at Disney Very Merriest After Hours in Magic Kingdom. And today, we got some very special news about that event!
Since Magic Kingdom reopened, there hasn’t been much in the way of stage show entertainment, except for the return of the morning welcome show a few weeks ago. However, it looks like stage shows will be returning this holiday season, thanks to some information Disney shared in an email to Annual Passholders!
The email included details about upcoming offerings, stating the following about the Very Merriest After Hours: “Enjoy a themed parade, stage show and fireworks show, complimentary treats, lower wait times, and more.” We already knew about the fireworks and the parade, but the return of the stage show is brand-new information!
Back at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2019, the Cinderella Castle stage show was called “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” and featured several Disney characters and a variety of holiday songs. Disney hasn’t noted what this year’s show will be (or even if it will be performed in front of the castle), but we’ll update you when they share details.
