The Christmas Tree Stroll Will Return to Disney World This Year

Even though it’s July, we’re getting in the holiday spirit thanks to some big announcements from Disney today!

Who’s ready for the holidays?!

We received details on a new After Hours event at Magic Kingdom, the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, and the return of gingerbread displays to the Disney Resorts. But if you don’t have a park ticket and you’re heading to Disney Springs, there’s still plenty of fun to enjoy!

According to Disney, “The shopping, dining and entertainment destination will transform into a winter wonderland, full of sparkling lights, enchanting décor, and holiday surprises.” As part of this transformation, the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll will be returning!

This year’s trees will feature over-the-top decorations. Some will be inspired by Disney movies and some will be made to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. And to add to the magic, a holiday snowfall will enchant guests in Town Center!

Besides the Christmas Tree Stroll, you’ll be able to celebrate with special holiday merchandise in the shops, limited-time food and beverage offerings, and the seasonal transformation of Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.
