Walt Disney World has been busy with all the spring break vacationers vising the park in March and April!
Disney keeps a pretty close eye on the expected crowds for the parks throughout the week (and months) and extends park hours and adds Park Pass Reservations as needed. With that in mind, hours at all four parks have already been added for early April, and it looks like Disney is expecting the crowds to continue later into the month too.
Disney park hours have been extended for the week of April 18th through 24th, so there’s even more time to experience all the attractions, food, and atmosphere! Magic Kingdom will now be open for an extra 4 hours each day of the week. Originally, the hours were 9AM-6PM but they have been extended to 8AM to 9PM.
There will also be an extra 2 hours to explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and try all the new Ronto Wraps in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The park was previously scheduled to open from 10AM to 7PM, but it will not be open from 9AM to 8PM throughout the week.
EPCOT is getting a 4-hour extension and will now be open for a total of 12 hours from 11AM to 11PM.
And, the last park to get a bump in hours is Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll be able to visit the animals early in the morning and late into the evening, with the park opening at 8AM and closing at 8PM.
If you haven’t booked your Park Pass Reservation just yet, you might want to go ahead and do that now — they are filling up FAST! We’ll continue to keep track of the crowds at the Disney Parks and keep you updated with the latest Disney news and updates! Stay tuned!
