BOTH Theme Parks at Universal Orlando Reached Capacity Again!

UPDATE: As of 4:49PM both Universal parks are now open to all guests.

Universal Orlando Resort is a popular place to be over spring break this year!

Crowds in Islands of Adventure

The theme parks at Universal Orlando function on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, unlike Disney World’s Park Pass Reservations, guests aren’t required to book a ticket into the park in advance and can just show up when they’re ready to hit the parks. And, as vacationers are spending their spring break taking on the theme parks, we’ve seen both parks (and even the water park) fill to capacity early in the day. And, today is no different.

As of 11:04AM this morning, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are at capacity. Universal Orlando Resort shared the news early this morning on their Twitter account adding that they do believe that the parks will reopen to more guests later today.

There are still a few things you can do if you get to Universal Resort and find that the parks are at capacity. Yesterday, the new Universal Legacy Store and Universal Studios Store opened for the first time in CityWalk, and they’re both worth checking out!
