Disney’s Art of Animation Sets Refurb Schedule and Lists Available Amenities Upon Reopening

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in Walt Disney World is scheduled to reopen on November 1st, 2020.

Due to the new health and safety protocols, Disney World resorts are implementing modified experiences. Art of Animation will also practice these new mandates upon reopening. While some experiences may be unavailable, we now know what amenities will be open and operating. Disney has also listed the refurbishment schedule for the resort’s main pool.

The Big Blue Pool will be closed for refurbishment from January 11th, 2021 through early April 2021. During this time, the Flippin’ Fins Pool, Cozy Cone Pool, and the Schoolyard Sprayground will remain open for guests. However, the Big Blue Pool will open with the rest of the resort on November 1st.

Activities

• Pools
• Poolside Activities
• Movies Under the Stars

Transportation

• Bus transportation is available from this Disney Resort hotel to the Disney theme parks and the Disney Springs area
• Disney Skyliner aerial gondolas are available to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT
