While all four theme parks at Walt Disney World are officially open, many of the hotels have yet to reopen to the public.
Disney World hotels have been opening in phases, with select hotels set to open over the next few months, while others have not been given a reopening date.
Previously, Disney’s Beach Club Resort was set to reopen on August 24th while Disney’s BoardWalk Inn would open on October 1st. Disney’s Art of Animation and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort planned to open on August 12th. The previous schedule is below.
Now, Disney has delayed reopening for these four resorts. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will now reopen on October 4th, with Disney’s Art of Animation now set to reopen on November 1st.
Disney previously scheduled Disney’s Beach Club and BoardWalk Inn for reopening, and it is now confirmed that the resorts will remain closed until further notice. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is still set to open on August 24th. The current resort schedule is as follows.
Disney has also stated that guests who are affected by the new reopening dates can modify their existing reservations at no additional cost or cancel without the imposed cancellation fees.
As it stands now, the remaining resorts will open according to the schedule. We’ll continue to update you with future hotel reopening dates, changes, and cancellations!
