We’re here to wish Big Thunder Mountain Railroad a HUGE happy 40th anniversary today with a ride on one of our favorite attractions and a look at LOTS of themed merchandise!

Although we spotted a series of new anniversary merchandise in the parks today, we’ve also seen the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection inspired by the attraction pop up early in Disney World too!
However, today was the official debut of the Main Attraction collection on shopDisney for guests to pick up ears, MagicBands, pins, and more (obviously we want them all). Since Disney has moved the Main Attraction series to the MerchPass system online, guests are allowed to purchase the specific merchandise Disney provides after submitting reservations for them.

Regardless of the virtual system, the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction line has been selling out left and right. And, today was no different! The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad series sold out within 2 hours of its 7AM PST/ 10AM EST release on shopDisney! If you think about it, that’s a LOT of merchandise to go quickly since the stock available online is usually considerably bigger than stores in person.

But, there’s no need to panic if you couldn’t get any items from the sold-out collection! Disney tends to bring back its Main Attraction series online and in stores around the parks for guests to grab.

While we aren’t sure when or if the “wildest merchandise in the wilderness” will be restocked, we’ll make sure to give you an update about when the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad series is back in action!
Speaking of Minnie, check out these ADORABLE Mickey and Minnie Wedding Backpack you can wear with your special someone!
