The second season of The Mandalorian hasn’t even aired yet, but we’re already discussing the third season, which Disney recently confirmed is in pre-production.
But it looks like we might as well start looking forward to a fourth season, too!
Giancarlo Esposito, who portrays Moff Gideon on the show, recently spoke to People and teased both the third and fourth season of The Mandalorian.
In the interview, Esposito said, “So I think this show is going to lay the ground work for the depth and breadth that’s gonna come in season 3 and season 4, where you’re really gonna start to get answers.”
The show has been a huge hit for Disney+, and it recently received 15 Emmy nominations, of which it won seven. It’s one of the highest in-demand shows on a streaming service. It also sparked a worldwide craze over the character known as “The Child,” aka Baby Yoda.
The Mandalorian season 2 lands on Disney+ on October 30th. And if you haven’t done so yet, be sure to watch the trailer! We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for any more news about The Mandalorian, and we’ll keep you updated.
