It’s a beautiful day in Magic Kingdom, and we’re checking out all of the construction projects in the park. There’s even a new set of construction barriers up!

Check out our latest Magic Kingdom construction update!
Cinderella Castle
First up, we swung by Cinderella Castle to see what progress, if any, had been made on the upcoming refurbishment. We know that the castle is set to get a fresh new look, and the VP of Magic Kingdom has assured that the work shouldn’t cause much interruption during your park day.

It looks like the only progress that has been made is the continued work to drain the moat.

Adventureland
The new construction we saw is over in Adventureland where a section of barriers and scrim has popped up in the middle of the land. Looks like a little bit of refurb is going on in the most daring part of the Kingdom.

Tomorrowland
And, of course, work wages on in Tomorrowland where we’ve seen some refurb to a lot of the decorative pieces of the area, like around Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Many pillars are still surrounded by grey scrim as work carries on. In fact, there’s even more scrim up today!

Yes, that is the Purple Wall! You might have a hard time getting your totally ‘grammable picture here with these big ol’ projects in the way.

We’re excited to see how the freshened up land looks when everything is completed, but for now, these scrims are just a little in the way.

Are you excited to see the end result of the Tomorrowland work? Nervous about Cinderella Castle? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Why are they draining moat. I must have missed a post or two.
Hi Joe! It’s being temporarily drained for construction to begin for the makeover of Cinderella Castle.
