In July, 2014, Disney announced that Trattoria al Forno (Italy) would replace Kouzzina (Greece) at Boardwalk.
Today Disney shares the costume designer renderings of the costumes for the cast members. These were designed by Walt Disney Imagineer Celina Lung. Lung has also designed costumes for Epcot’s Coral Reef restaurant as well as various locations in Disney parks around the world.
The attire is “charming, casual, a little upscale”, said Lung, and will match the restaurant color palette.
Burgundy shirts and blouses will be paried with khaki-colored pants. To provide a more refined finish the bladed leather belt will have an antique brass buckle. Serves will also wear bistro aprons.
A classic tweed jacket will complement the outfits in the colder months.
The restaurant is scheduled to open in December 2014. Kouzzina closes at the end of September. While Kouzzina is closed, breakfast will be offered at the Flying Fish Cafe.
