The interior will feature spherical, planet-shaped lighting fixtures and will create a welcoming atmosphere for fans to celebrate a new generation of superstar entertainers, while retaining the old movie memorabilia. There will be a new outdoor terrace and an outdoor bar space called Stargazers that will feature live entertainment. The main dining room will include a DJ. Planet Hollywood's renovations will be completed in 2016. |
| Jan. 19 - Nov. 18 | Muppets Courtyard : Disney's Hollywood Studios | Pizza Planet PizzeRizzo, themed after the Muppets character Rizzo the Rat, will open this fall in Muppets Courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios, in the former Toy Story Pizza Planet location.
The casual Italian-American dining experience will feature pizza and other Italian specialties, with updated indoor and outdoor seating areas, a banquet room, and a special booth designated just for Rizzo's celebrity friends. |

| Aug. 04 - Sep. 05 | Disney Springs : Walt Disney World | Art in August Every weekend (Thursday through Sunday), tents will be set up throughout the promenade, with Disney artists and handmade treasures, including jewelry from Jortra and stationary from Boiled Books, and unique keepsakes such as the latest Precious Moments Dolls from doll designer Linda Rick. Painters like Greg McCullough and Darren Wilson will sit alongside niche craftsman selling items that include giftable plants (Petal Pushers), handmade soaps and beauty products (Rinse) and decorative house and garden flags (Swaying in the Breeze). The eclectic Pop Gallery on the West Side will have a booth featuring unique pieces, as will Name Works. On select dates, these artists will be joined by photographer Carlos Cuba, Precious Moments figurine sculptor Hiko Maeda, and game designer Quynh Kimball. | Summer - Fall 2017 | Muppets Courtyard : Disney's Hollywood Studios | Grand Avenue Muppets Courtyard and parts of the former Streets of America section of Disney's Hollywood Studios are being reimagined and transformed into Grand Avenue. Grand Avenue will be a streetscape evocative of downtown Los Angeles. The current Muppets Courtyard will become Grand Park, an urban square off Grand Avenue surrounded by shops and restaurants like PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. There are already changes in the area, with the Muppets theater being renamed "Grand Arts Theatre" and boasting a brand-new marquee. The Muppet*Vision 3D show will continue. |
| August - mid-September 2017 | Mickey Avenue : Disney's Hollywood Studios | One Man's Dream The One Man's Dream attraction is currently being reimagined into Walt Disney Presents, which like its predecessor, will showcase historic items from Walt Disney's history. Walt Disney Presents will also act as a preview center where guests explore what's next for the park. The attraction will also continue to host greetings with characters like Star-Lord and baby Groot, plus special sneak previews of upcoming Disney films. |
