REVIEW: The New Drink Every Disney Adult Is Grabbing From the Mexico Pavilion

We just tried a drink by Mickey Mouse. No, really, we just tried an old fashioned by the voice of Mickey Mouse — and yes, we’re losing our minds.

Let’s go to La Cava!

Bret Iwan is one of the few actors who has voiced Mickey Mouse, and he teamed up with La Cava del Tequila for a new drink. We headed down to EPCOT because there was no way we were missing a drink crafted by the voice of Mickey Mouse.

Please say a nice hiya to The Vaquero’s Falsetto, sketched by Bret Iwan. It’s made with Bardstown bourbon, reposado tequila, mole bitters, orange oil, Terbeau Ranch rosemary, and bourbon soaked cherries. It was inspired by Iwan’s ranch, Terbeau Ranch, and is fit for the rugged trail and a swell adventure.

It’s pretty, too

This old fashioned was so good! It had a bit of a square ice cube on the inside that had the Terbeau Ranch logo on it. We think the drink was a smidge softer than we were expecting, but in the best way. It was easy to drink, even if you’re not super into hard alcohol, and a good option to add to your day around EPCOT. We could feel the creativity in it!

Bret made our drink!

The rosemary seemed to be mostly there for appearance and for aroma, and the orange was light in the back. The main flavor was bourbon with a kick of tequila, and we think the rosemary and cherry balanced well with the bourbon and brought in a bit of a smoky flavor. It was such a fun drink that we would totally get it again.

While there isn’t an announced end date yet, these drinks do not typically stay around forever, so if you know you need to try it, we recommend heading there sooner rather than later. Make sure you keep following AllEars for more of the food reviews you need to know before going to Disney World.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE DISNEY SNACKS IS BACK IN EPCOT!

Disclosure: We were invited by La Cava del Tequila to attend this drink preview. This did not affect our reporting of the event — our opinions are our own.
