We Weren’t Expecting To See THIS So Soon In Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There is a lot going on in Disney World right now!

Tower of Terror

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is still underway, but Disney is quietly preparing for the next holiday on the horizon! Jollywood Night and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are two of Disney’s biggest ways to celebrate the Christmas season, and we are less than a month away from their kick-off.

Our first signs of Christmas have already arrived in Disney World! We know, Halloween hasn’t happened yet, and poor Thanksgiving gets overlooked every year. Don’t get mad at us, it’s Disney! (We won’t deny that it does make us super excited for the Christmas season.)

Christmas Merchandise!

Over in Magic Kingdom, holiday merchandise has already arrived. Now, Hollywood Studios is showing off its first sign of the next holiday near the Chinese Theater. Christmas trees are starting to appear in the park!

The Christmas trees!

Near the park’s icon, we spotted several bundles of evergreen trees patiently awaiting their time to shine.  While it might feel a bit early to have these beauties on display, we are only a few weeks away from November, which is when Christmas really kicks off in the parks.

So many bundles!

We won’t expect to see more holiday decorations until the end of the month, but never say never! In 2024, the first Christmas decorations in Hollywood Studios appeared on October 31st.

Last year’s first decorations!

Another sign that the holidays are coming is the subtle rows of lights near the Hollywood Brown Derby. At the time of writing, those lights haven’t appeared just yet, but you can see a photo of what they’ve looked like in the past below.

See the Rows of Lights?

Christmas time is one of our favorite times in Hollywood Studios! Around the park, we expect to see the stars appear down Sunset Blvd, a large tree in Echo Lake, and more decorations scattered throughout the park.

In the past, Disney has changed decorations overnight and over the course of a few days. We do anticipate that the park will be fully decorated by November 8th because it’s the first night of Jollywood Nights!

This party will run on select nights from November 8th until December 22nd, 2025. Guests can expect to find specialty snacks, decor, characters, and more at this special ticketed after-hours event. We can’t wait to see how the park comes to life later next month. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news.
