Disney's Hollywood Studios Makes Big Schedule CHANGE for Nighttime Entertainment

If you’re not enjoying some nighttime entertainment in Disney World, you’re missing out! (Well, I suppose, unless you’re getting more sleep than the rest of us.)

Between the new nighttime parade in Magic Kingdom, the Happily Ever After fireworks, Luminous, and the iconic Fantasmic, there are SO many options for entertainment after dark in the parks. And if you’re putting Fantasmic on your calendar for your upcoming trip, you need to know about a noteworthy change!

The Disney World calendar has been updated with new showtimes for Fantasmic. For a little while, the show has been happening at 8:30PM each evening, but as we head into the fall, that will change.

Starting on September 18th, Fantasmic will move to a 9:30PM showtime. The park will be closing at 9PM, so the show actually starts AFTER closing time. The good news is that this will give you more time to get rides done!

Typically, the post-park close showtime is more of a thing when there are two shows in a single night. But for now, it looks like Fantasmic is sticking with one showing per evening. If you plan to watch, you’ll want to line up at least half an hour in advance to secure your seat in the theater.

This show is one of Disney World’s most popular offerings, with live characters, pyrotechnics, water effects, and some good ol’ fashioned Disney magic and storytelling. It features many fan-favorite characters and songs, so it’s a must-do in our book!
