REVIEW: $13 Gets You a WHOLE Slice of Deep Fried Cheesecake in Disney World

I probably don’t have to write an entire post on how phenomenal something called Deep Fried Cheesecake is, but sit back and relax because I’m about to make you want to book a trip to Disney World immediately. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Over at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs on Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort, we tried Deep Fried Cheesecake for $13. This is a whole slice of cheesecake deep-fried, topped with powdered sugar, and a strawberry sauce.

Deep Fried Cheesecake

This cheesecake was perfectly fried with a lovely ratio of cheesecake to batter. The cheesecake itself is a classic New York-style cheesecake, fluffy, rich, and not too sweet. It was full of the classic cream cheese whipped flavor, with a graham cracker crust so rich we could taste it through the batter.

FLUFFY!

We weren’t in love with the strawberry topping, and we would have preferred it on the side so we could add our own preferred amount. There wasn’t the bright, fresh strawberry flavor that we were craving, but we’re willing to look past it for the creamy, not-too-sweet cheesecake. It was also pretty heavy, so you’ll probably want to grab a fork. It was a big serving and easy to share!
