Let’s talk Disney. There’s a lot happening at The Walt Disney Company right now. We’ve got new movies, new attractions, new restaurants, and even a new CEO on the way. That’s a LOT of change!

Well, speaking of change, we have some breaking news to share straight from Disney! Prepare get EXCITED by Disney’s latest announcement.
Disney creatives and executives are reporting live from D23 Brazil, and we’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting to see what Disney would announce.

Now, as you may know, a HUGE new Villains Land is coming to the Magic Kingdom. This land will be located “Beyond Big Thunder Mountain” and will feature new attractions, dining, and more.

Well, now we know some of the villains that might be part of the land. Thanks to the Omelete entertainment website on X, we can see the expected character lineup coming to Villains Land. Now, Disney hasn’t officially confirmed this list — think of it as an inspiration collage.

That said, it looks like Disney plans to highlight the classic Disney villains we love, like the Queen of Hearts, Jafar, the Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, Yzma, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, Gaston, Mother Gothel, Ursula, Hades, and Chernabog.

Oh, and if that villain art looks familiar, many fans online were quick to point out that the art looks like it came from Lorcana, a popular Disney trading card game.

Disney also shared some details about the story of the land. According to Josh D’Amaro, Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Villains Land is bringing some classic villains together. D’Amaro revealed, “In our story, a mysterious spell has been cast, summoning villains from every realm,” adding, “In this land, heroes don’t come to save the day — and there may not be a happily ever after!”, according to Entertainment Weekly. WOW!

According to Entertainment Weekly, D’Amaro also shared that multiple Disney villains will converge in one place, so be prepared for a wicked lineup of characters. We can’t WAIT to learn more.
We will be sure to update you with more information as Disney shares further details. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
