“Why Have I Not Done This Before?” — Disney Adults (Including Us) Keep Skipping THIS in Magic Kingdom…But It’s a Mistake

Did you know that there is a free interactive game in Magic Kingdom?

Magic Kingdom

You may have heard of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, which closed in 2021. Or maybe you have heard of Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, which is an interactive game in EPCOT; it was formally Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, and even before that it was Kim Possible: World Showcase Adventure. Disney World is no stranger to interactive games, and you can still play one right now in the Magic Kingdom.

You may have walked right past the Crow’s Nest between Adventureland and Frontierland and never really gave it a second thought. Well, this small building is home to A Pirates Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas. If you want to participate in this interactive game, head over to The Crow’s Nest and pick up a talisman. This allows you to read a secret treasure map. After you complete each mission, you receive a special treasure finder card, and once you collect all five, you get the sixth and final card, which Captain Jack Sparrow signed!

You can pick up your talisman between 12 PM and 6 PM daily. Each mission takes about 20 minutes to complete, and you can use either your MagicBand or card or pick up a magic talisman. This interactive experience is totally free and often overlooked!

The Crow’s Nest

Recently, Emma, Quincy, and Angie decided to take on a mission for themselves!

Entrance to A Pirates Adventure

When they entered the Crow’s Nest, the Cast Member explained the scavenger hunt to them, and they tapped their MagicBand to turn it into their talisman. Once scanned, you will put in the number of people participating in your party. After you will be assigned a map which a Cast Member will give to you.

Then, the three of them were off to complete the scavenger hunt! As they went around and followed their map, they came across multiple interactive spots. Quincy even wondered why she had never done this before because they thought it was so fun and cool!

Maps in the Crow’s Nest

If you have already completed one of the maps, you can come back and do one of the other four. This activity does not get the recognition it deserves. If you are looking for a fun activity to do in Adventureland, we highly suggest checking out A Pirates Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas.
