YAY! The 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has arrived and we are here checking out all of the food, drinks, and merchandise.

Disney World festivals also bring some unique entertainment to EPCOT. One of the offerings is the Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt. This hunt will take you all over World Showcase as you look for Spike. And once you’ve completed the scavenger hunt, you can claim your PRIZE.
Now, this experience does require you to purchase a map if you want to be able to claim a prize for your bee-hunting efforts. These maps can be purchased at World Traveler, Creations, Port of Entry, and Disney Traders. You should be able to buy a map at some festival booths as well. The map costs $9.99, but you can apply Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club discounts when applicable,

You will place stickers in the correct place on your map as you discover Spike’s hidden locations around World Showcase.

You’ll want to keep an eye out for Spike all over World Showcase.

Once you have completed your map, you can bring it to World Traveler, Creations, Port of Entry, or Disney Traders to claim your prize!

2024 Prizes
So, is the experience worth the $9.99? Well, to us that really depends on the prize each year.

This year, the prize is a mini-game of corn hole, so we’d say it’s worth it. You can even choose from four designs: Spike the Bee, Coco, the EPCOT logo, or Orange Bird.

UPDATE: As of mid-March, the prize has CHANGED. Instead, you may receive an Orange Bird magnet after completing the scavenger hunt. You can read more about the change HERE.

We are covering everything there is to know about the festival. So be sure to follow us on Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok and subscribe to our newsletter so you can see all of our reviews and coverage of the festival.
