FIRST LOOK at Cast Member Costumes for EPCOT's New Moana Attraction

EPCOT is where all the excitement is happening, it seems!

July 27th marked the start of the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, which was pretty darn exciting for those of us who love food. Not only is everyone excited about the arrival of a fan-favorite festival, but now EPCOT fans AND Cast Members have something NEW to be excited about — and it takes us across and under the seas. Let’s check it out!

Disney just shared that soon, Cast Members at The Seas With Nemo & Friends and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana would receive NEW costumes!

Disney said, “As we continue our voyage to design cast costumes to be more comfortable, breathable, and environmentally-friendly than ever before, these new costumes will feature a splashy detail on the sleeve.”

The splashy detail? Well, at The Seas With Nemo & Friends, Cast Members will wear their sleeve unbuttoned — where it looks like a navy blue cuff. However, over at Journey of Water, the sleeve will be rolled up and buttoned to reveal a wave design inspired by Moana!

We love the little details that make the Disney World Cast Member costumes unique. We’re also excited to see more glimpses into the Journey of Water attraction, which is set to open late this year.
