Opening Timeline Announced for Journey of Water — Inspired by ‘Moana’ in EPCOT!

The EPCOT transformation has left the park in a state of construction for several years now, but it’s finally coming together now.

We’ve seen the progress and openings of the new store Creations Shop as well as the new quick service restaurant Connections Cafe and Eatery. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened on May 27th, and now we finally have news about the opening of the interactive water exhibit inspired by Moana!

We finally have an opening timeline for the new EPCOT water attraction Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana. Disney announced today that Journey of Water will open sometime in late 2023!

Moana: Journey of Water will be a walk-through attraction featuring interactive elements based on Moana, such as an exploration trail and a variety of water features. At the entrance, the concept art shows that there will be a large rock with the Heart of Te Fiti, and we’ve seen construction on the rock formation in progress.
