But, this week is HUGE for Disney news with a whole park reopening and a massive cruise ship reveal! And, we’re breaking down everything you need to know ahead of their debut!

Disneyland

This week is Disneyland’s grand reopening! It’s been over a year since the initial closure. As the hotels open the night before on April 29th, the parks will welcome everyone back on April 30th!

Disney California Adventure

Cast Members have already been called back to the entrance and rides throughout the parks. You’ll be able to hop on some of your favorite attractions (even though there will be a few not included in the mix). Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, the redesigned King Arthur Carrousel, and the updated Haunted Mansion are set to open with the parks.

Restaurants will be opening with dining reservations, Mobile Order, and Walk-Up Waitlist. Characters will be greeting guests all over the property, along with the other returning and entertainment arriving too!

Carthay Circle

Avengers Campus won’t be opening along with the parks, but it will make its debut shortly after on June 4th. But, you’ll want to book soon since reservations are selling out both for Disneyland’s reopening day and the grand opening of Avengers Campus!

Here’s what a reopened California theme park looks like!

Disney Cruise Line

After we’ve been waiting for more details about the Disney Wish, we’re finally getting a first look around Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship! We got a small sneak peek inside the grand lobby area as Disney hits construction milestones on the next part of the fleet.

Ahead of the Disney Wish’s summer 2022 debut, Disney will give a 30-minute virtual presentation that has behind-the-scenes looks at the cruise ship, characters, and more! New spaces and “immersive adventures” will be revealed during the Once Upon a Disney Wish virtual event on April 29th at 11 AM EST.

It’s also important to note, though that the Disney Cruise Line currently has select cruises canceled through October. However, Disney still has hopes to resume limited operations in the Fall. Passengers who are fully vaccinated can travel again, but the CDC has recommended that all travelers avoid the Bahamas. The U.K., though, can participate in the Disney Cruise Line’s “staycations” aboard the Disney Magic.
