With the reopening date of Disneyland Resort’s theme parks just days away, we’re getting geared up for all the changes!

When the parks reopen, some things will remain closed for a little while longer, like certain rides and restaurants. There will also be special health and safety measures in place for your visit. Today, we found out that parking is going to be different than we’re used to, so if you’re driving, listen up!
Visiting Downtown Disney
Starting April 30th, things are going to shake up slightly for Downtown Disney. The shopping and dining district will be open starting at 10AM on the 30th and will open daily at 9AM on May 1st and beyond.

This area will remain open after the parks close, so guests are welcome to stop by before, during, or after their theme park day. For those coming to Downtown Disney, parking is located in the Simba Lot — starting April 30th, pricing will change to payment upon exit. At that time, hourly prices with validation will return.
Visiting the Theme Parks
If you’re driving to the theme parks, then you’ll be welcome to park in the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. There, you will be asked if you have theme park tickets and a theme park reservation. Disney has stressed that it won’t be necessary to rush or arrive early, considering you’ll already have your spot in the parks booked.

Make sure to allow time to walk across the pedestrian bridge, as the trams will not be running. There will, however, be stroller, wheelchair, and ECV rentals available at the parking structures. Line ups will not be allowed prior to 6AM on opening weekend — when the parking structures and security screening areas open. It’s also important to note that state guidelines prohibit eating and drinking in line, so you’ll want to finish your breakfast and coffee in the car!

That’s all the parking information we have for now, but make sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disneyland Resort reopening news and updates! We’ll be covering the reopening live later this week, so keep an eye on our site and our social media!
