REOPENING DATE Revealed For Oga’s Cantina In Disneyland!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has some BIG updates on the way! Over in Disneyland, the land is expanding its timeline, which will include more Star Wars eras that will unlock new storylines.

In addition to these changes, the land’s popular bar has been experiencing a lengthy closure. The closure was originally supposed to take place for a few days, but after a few weeks of waiting, we finally have a reopening date for Oga’s Cantina! 

If you’re ready to dance and grab a drink in Disneyland, we have some great news for you! Oga’s Cantina will be reopening on March 14th, 2026. 

The popular bar closed on January 20th and was originally supposed to reopen on January 24th, 2026. Disney has never clarified what the closure was for exactly, but we do know there are going to be some changes! When Disney shared that Galaxy’s Edge is going to get some changes, they also included that the famous tune “Cantina Band” will be heard in the bar.

They said specifically, “In the era of the Galactic Civil War, proprietor Oga Garra only recently opened this watering hole, which is already becoming a popular spot for intergalactic travelers.”  We can’t wait to see if the bar features any new menu items, drinks, and that new soundtrack.

Songs from the original films will also be introduced into the land like  “Main Title,” “Force Theme,” “Han Solo and the Princess,” “The Desert and the Robot Auction,” “The Emperor,” and more. The stores are also changing, along with the addition of a brand-new comic. These changes are only coming to Disneyland, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for these updates to land in Hollywood Studios as well.
