Some major Disney news was shared earlier today! We learned the official opening date of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT, and we also got some exciting updates from the West Coast!

After getting the go-ahead for California theme parks in the red tier to reopen beginning April 1st, Disney CEO Bob Chapek shared that they hope to reopen Disneyland sometime in late April! He also shared some updates about the newest land coming to Disney California Adventure — Avengers Campus.
Last month during The Walt Disney Company’s Q1 Earnings Call, it was confirmed that Avengers Campus would open in 2021. During today’s update, Chapek stated that the new land would open, “later this year,” which means that it won’t be opening along with the rest of the park.

So, although Disneyland may begin to welcome guests in April, it’ll still be some time until we’re able to experience the new Avengers Campus. We’ve been keeping an eye on construction, and will be sure to share any updates we see!

So for now, we’re still on the lookout for an official opening date. Tomorrow, D23 is hosting the virtual event, “Magical Milestones,” where a sneak peek of Avengers Campus is to be shared! We’ll be sure to provide updates, so check back with us!
