There’s been a lot of construction around Disney World recently but not many projects have a confirmed opening date quite yet.
Over at Disneyland Resort, we’ve been keeping tabs on the newest land coming to the parks — Avengers Campus. Though much of Disneyland has been closed due to health and safety concerns, we recently saw that Disney was testing the lights on the exterior of the building in the evening. Could this mean that we’re close to an opening date?
Today, during The Walt Disney Company’s Q1 Earnings Call, CEO Bob Chapek, confirmed that Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park will open “later this year.”
The new land will transport guests into the world of the Avengers and give them a chance to be the newest recruit. The immersive experience will include a new Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure ride, stage shows with Avengers characters, training groups, and even a Spider-Man stunt robot will be swinging above the campus.
