NEWS: Vaccine Site at Disneyland Resort Has Vaccinated More Than 100,000 People

While the Disneyland Resort theme parks remain closed, part of the parking lot area is currently being used as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution center.

This distribution center was announced in January and opened a few days later, providing vaccinations for thousands of Orange County, CA residents. Now, we know just how big of a help this center has been, thanks to Disney’s Q1 earnings call.

On tonights Q1 earnings call, Disney shared that they were pleased to be “doing their part” to help the community by offering Disneyland as a vaccination site. They also shared that the site has now vaccinated more than 100,000 people.

The vaccination center has only been openfor about a month, which means that the staff there are vaccinating thousands of people each day. Orange County officials have a goal to vaccinate all residents by July 4th of this year.
