EPCOT Just Changed Living With the Land and We’re Seriously Disappointed

The 2026 edition of EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival kicked off on March 4th, and with it comes MANY things!

The Land Pavilion

Food in the form of 20 outdoor kitchens offering more than 75 new menu items for festival-goers to enjoy, entertainment thanks to the Garden Rocks Concert Series, plenty of plants and Disney-themed topiaries, and even a special overlay of one of EPCOT’s ORIGINAL rides!

Living With the Land – the iconic boat ride that has been part of the park in one form or another since 1982 – often sees overlays for seasonal events and festivals. For example, 2025 saw a Princess overlay featuring theming elements reminiscent of Moana, Belle, and Rapunzel.

So, what has 2026 brought to the iconic attraction? Well, not much. It seems that Disney didn’t put as much thought into the overlay this year. Only a few things in the ride have changed for the festival. The first greenhouse has a pretty flower archway.

Some of the scenes on the ride have also had flowers added.

Another scene added a violet lemonade pitcher.

That’s it. After last year’s pretty Princess makeover, we expected more this year, but in 2026, the changes are minimal and disappointing.
