We always love planning our outfits for our Disney World trips. There is something special about the anticipation of finally being in Disney World and getting to wear the outfits we carefully picked out.
If you are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon, we’ve got some tips to help you plan your outfits! We are sharing some of the trends we have noticed at Hollywood Studios, so you can feel stylish and prepared.
Of course, before we dive in, you should wear what makes you comfortable and happy! Just because we have been noticing these trends a lot, does not mean that is the only thing you can wear. Express yourself in the best way for you!
DisneyBounding isn’t new by any means, but it is still incredibly popular at Disney World and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We always think DisneyBounding at Hollywood Studios is great because you can do a Toy Story or Star Wars bound and be themed to an entire land instead of just a ride or character. DisneyBounds for rides or characters are great too, but it is a lot of fun to bound for an entire land!
If you aren’t familiar with DisneyBounding, it is the process of curating an outfit that consists of elements inspired by Disney characters — without blatantly dressing up as the character. There is so much opportunity for creativity, and it is lots of fun!

Retro shirts are definitely in right now! We have been seeing lots and lots of retro shirts while we are at the parks, and they are so versatile. Plus, with the increase in their popularity, that also means there are LOTS of options for designs. You can pick a shirt or your favorite character or ride, or you can grab one that features Sorcerer Mickey!

You will look the part walking down Sunset Boulevard or dropping in the Hollywood Tower Hotel. We might recommend choosing the chairs if you do pay the hotel a visit though.
As well, even though Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy has been replaced by the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show, we have still spotted plenty of Cars shirts throughout Hollywood Studios. If you want to show off your favorite Cars items, you definitely won’t be alone at Hollywood Studios!

It is also Halloween time at Disney World, so we have been spotting lots of Halloween and fall themed outfits. It may still be in the high 80’s and low 90’s in Orlando, but that doesn’t stop park goers from embracing the season! In addition to these fall outfits, we have seen our fair share of long sleeve shirts. Definitely make sure you check the weather before you head to the parks, and you can always pack a change of clothes if you want to change during the heat of the day.
